Midian was first a weekly then a monthly showcase of dark electronic music acts and DJs that ran in the first part of the 2000’s first at Velvet Lounge and then at Grog and Tankard and Asylum.
It was a week night event for the dark electronic music scene that featured a number of local, regional, and occasionally national acts that might not have been yet at the Nation/930 stage of their career but certainly where worth hearing live. Many of these acts went on to play larger shows at Nation, BOUND Midnight etc.
