October 20th 2012 8 pm – 11 PM the Electric Maid 268 Carroll St NW, Takoma Park (Across from the Metro station)
Love Music Hate Racism -DC aims to unite people through community conversation and forward-thinking in order to bring positivity, unity and grassroots development into communities that have not found the channels or spaces to do so.
Storytellers will bring a magical evening of stories, including folk-tales, life maps, stories of over-coming obstacles, and stories of miracles; all are welcome. Love Music Hate Racism-DC wants to hear people speak about the uniqueness of truth or dreams over the sounds of music.
These amazing stories will be told at the Electric Maid in Takoma Park on the 20th of October 2012 from 8pm-11pm. We would love for you to join us for a simple donation of 10$, which will help support the continuity of our projects.
Interested parties are welcome to contact The Peace House for further information, take part in our activities, media coverage, becoming Partners in the LMHR-DC Chapter or the Storytellers event itself.
